Apple started their event by introducing Apple + they have increased the production of apple originals, movies, and baseball games which they show, and particularly that is not my interest, I generally watch Netflix, I don't watch apple TV plus. If you guys are watching then it can be beneficial for you.
iPhone 13 (New color)
Other than this they have added green color in iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 pro they have provided normal green in the iPhone 13 and they have provided alpine green in iPhone 13 pro prices are the same, they have just added the color in it.
iPhone SE
The next thing is that there were rumors that they are going to launch the cheapest iPhone SE most affordable 5G iPhone is going to launch. But it is not that interesting as people were expecting it to be the body is same as iPhone 8, they haven't changed a thing sometimes as we say companies keep internal components same but they just change the external components so that their stock gets to sell off quickly. But in the case of apple, it's vice-versa. They have changed the internal components but the outer body is the same.
This can be deal-breaking for some people and it can also be an entry point for new apple users because the entry point is around RS. 45,000 as per Indian pricing. This time they have included 5G and improved the chip they have exactly used the same chip which is used in iPhone 13 and they have improved the camera. But there is one disadvantage that they have still kept the touch ID and they haven't included face ID like it present in other iPhones along with that the quality of the screen is still LCD whereas there have given OLED screen in other models, definitely there is pricing difference we can even get iPhone 12 in the range of RS. 50,000 then I would suggest why to buy iPhone SE for RS.45,000, you can directly buy iPhone 12 then that becomes a good deal if you add RS.5000 more to it so that is one thing. If we talk about models then we get 64 GB, 128 GB, and 256 GB. But if you are willing to spend RS. 45,000 then I would recommend you guys to buy an iPhone 12 if you have a limited budget and if you are an iPhone lover.
iPad
So, the next thing is iPad air and till now your iPad air was running very successfully and in that, they have installed M1 chip which was used to be there in mac books and Ipad pro. Now, the chip which customers were looking for, they have provided in this device. So, now they have advanced in the field of tabs and as of now, no tablet is powerful in this pricing in the whole market. While comparing they said that it has become 60% faster than A14 and if you compare it with windows, then it is increased by 50% and even the speed of type C has increased.
So, the overall package has become good and now all the cameras here come with center stage and an interesting thing is that this has also become 5G and they have added blue color to it. Sadly, they have provided only two storage variants 64 GB and 256 GB and I feel that 64 GB is too low 256 GB is a bit more, 128 GB is a sweet spot which is preferred by most people but Apple has removed it, I mean they never added that and I feel that this spot was bit interesting.
New chip M1 Ultra
There was a chip rumored with M2 chip and there are speculations that with this chip mac book air can be launched in march which unfortunately didn't happen but this new chip has been named M1 ultra. So their M1 series is done here, M1, M1 Pro, and M1 ultra have kept some old names. So they have explained the architecture of the chip they have increased the production of apple's most expensive silicon chip M1 max by double and have introduced new infrastructure for example if they want to combine two chips then there would be high latency which won't be there in this architecture.
Because they have made a joint of special connection and due to this the performance of this chip is very high. So the memory bandwidth of inter memory of both the processor is 2.5 TB/S other than this the memory bandwidth of the whole chip is 800 GB/S and till now whatever unified memory they used to provide 8GB, 16Gb, 32GB, 64GB. In this chip, they are providing unified memory of 64 GB or we can go to RAM options up to 128 GB. Now the technique to join both chips has been named ultra fusion and it contains 20 core CPU and 64 core GPU. On comparing they have claimed that it is more efficient than Intel core i9 12th generation.
The performance that 16 core processor of any desktop or PC can provide provides the same performance at 100 watts which means better thermals and your electricity bill is reduced. But apple takes so much money that savings on your electricity bill don't matter then they showed comparison with RTX 3060Ti, so it provides that same performance with 1/3rd power. So they focused a lot on environment-friendly talks.
Mac Studio
Other than this, a product called Mac studio was launched which was more appealing to me. Now, it is the same as the mac mini factor they have just increased the width and with this product, they have targeted the people who are creative professionals and those people who are interested in designing, video editing, etc and they have said if you have a studio and you want to build something creative then this product is for you so basically they have targeted this type of audience and the M1 chip which they have introduced, it has been inserted only in this device.
If I talk about ports then there are 4 thunderbolt ports 10 GB Ethernet port, 2 USB-A ports, 1 HDMI port, and an audio jack of 3.5 mm in front, they have provided two USB Type-C ports and a full-size memory card slot. If I talk about displays then I can connect 4 HDR pro displays at once and along with that, you can connect a 4K TV. So you can make a decent setup, but it is expensive. But it is very powerful that Apple is claiming that you can do streaming up to 18 layers on a 4K video and you can edit one by one which is very very very high. If this much power is being provided then you can call it a studio no one will use it for general work.
Studio Display
To complement this mac studio a new display has been introduced, it is called studio display Mac studio, studio display. It is 27 inches, has 5K resolution, and has 600 Nits of brightness. So, this monitor comes up with true ton support and has six speakers and also it has 12 Megapixels of the camera in which center stage is provided. In-studio if you want to talk with someone regarding projects then they can also appreciate the camera quality as they have so many A-series chips, they have inserted A13 chip here due to which the image quality is improved and processing gets improved and if we talk about sports then we have 3 USB ports and 1 thunderbolt ports.
Pricing ( Mac Studio and Studio Display )
If I talk about the pricing then I have already told you about the iPhone SE that as per the Indian market it costs around RS. 45,000 and if we check about other pricing then mac studio's CPU comes with two variant 10 core CPU, 24 core CPU, and 16 core neural engine which costs around RS. 1,90,000. The machine which I am having is RS 1,85,000 and the studio in which performance is better but it doesn't have screen, portability and so it is of. RS.1,90,000 and the interesting which I found bad is that they have provided storage of 512 GB in the base variant I don't know why apple thinks that 512 GB of storage is more than enough they selling it on the name of the studio and are taking RS 2,00,000 for it at least they should provide 1-2TB of space to do work of this level and the interesting thing is that they have next variant worth approximately RS 4,00,000 it is still 20 core CPU and 48 core GPU.
If we take to full specs then CPU will increase for RS.1,00,000 for RS.80,000 RAM will increase and storage will increase for RS 2,20,000. If you are doing work which is of the level studio then you will have to buy all this. If we remove logic pro for once then the price of a small studio comes out to be around Rs 8,18,000 excluding screen. If you want a studio display in your studio then they have told about two different glass qualities. First is standard glass which will cost you around RS. 1,60,000 and if you want nano texture on it then it will cost around RS.1,90,000. What difference does it make, it is apple. So here they have provided three different stands one is a visa mount for the wall, the other is to adjust the height or if you want to adjust the tilt. So even for this, there are different price ranges. So if you want to make a full spec-ed out studio then you have to give RS. 10,00,000 to apple then you will get a studio-level mechanism.
So these were some of the updates of apple and it is very expensive and I did not find it relevant for middle-class audience iPhone SE might be good in terms of performance but it is very bad in looks that people won't prefer it over the iPhone 12 I found a significant improvement in iPad air but tablet market is niche. It was very speculated that mac book air might be launched with new colors or new air pods might be launched but it didn't come to any such thing like that.
