After a long wait, Oneplus 9RT has launched in India. Oneplus 10 series has already launched in China, and they are still launching the 9 series. I agree there were a lot of problems in the supply chain, also there are a lot of basic things missing.
Desing
The feel is good, has a soft glossy texture, it is not that heavy, not that big too, can easily fit in hand. It comes in 2 colors, hacker black & nanosilver. The case quality is decent.
Build Quality
It has a Gorilla Glass 5, it also comes with a scratch guard out of the box It does not feel like it is 200gms, feels slightly less in hand the weight distribution is good.
Ports and Buttons
There is no 3.5mm jack. There's a sim card tray at the bottom.
Display
This is a big 6.62’’ display, the one plus 9R had a 6.55’’ display, this one has an E4 display & 300Hz TSR. This has a flat-screen, the bezels are flat too, average size chin.
Specification
This is a 9R successor, 9RT has a 888 5nm based processor. This comes in 2 variants, 8GB+128GB & 12GB+256GB. It has a 4500mAh battery with a 65W warp charge, and because of the 5nm processor, the battery should easily last for 1 day and 1.5 days with moderate usage. The on-paper score is 7.13Lakh when we checked it was 742230. Gaming performance was good, because of 888 you can play games like BGMI & COD on high and ultra-high settings. The secret feature is the 600Hz touch sampling rate, and it is noticeable while gaming. We played for half an hour or so and the SD 888 is infamous for having heating issues but on this phone, it did not heat much. This phone has a 59% bigger vapor cooling chamber, so even if you play for hours it won't heat that much.
UI
The performance, display both are good, but the OS should've been 12 out of the box, & I'm saying this because there was a delay. The Galaxy S21 FE has an Android 12, this one comes with Oxygen OS 11 and the security patch is not the latest too. It is from November, earlier the OnePlus OS used to stand out, not anymore And the reason I was expecting was, Oneplus is known to give updates right away.
sensors
There are a lot of sensors, in-display fingerprint sensors, face unlocks. A special flick detector is also added to eliminate the flickers while you shoot videos.
Multimedia
The video viewing is great, the speakers are stereo they are quite loud with good quality.
